We are delighted to announce the signing, for General Management, of the fabulous British cellist Gemma Rosefield. Gemma is one of the UK’s finest young artists, already performing and recording at the highest level with the likes of the BBC Symphony, Norwegian Radio Symphony and BBC Scottish Symphony (her most recent recording - of Stanford cello works with the BBC SSO for the Hyperion label - will be released this Spring).
She is much in demand as a chamber musician and duo recitalist at many of the major venues and festivals around the world, including Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and London’s South Bank Centre and Wigmore Hall (her next engagement will be on 9 March 2011), and has given extensive televised tours in countries including Japan and Mexico.
