Steve Reich travels to Hamburg, Germany, during the week of May 8 2017 to appear at the newly opened Elbphilharmonie as part of their Maximal Minimal series where he is the featured composer for 2017.
Over four sold-out concerts, musicians including the Colin Currie Group, Vision Quartet and Synergy Vocals will present several of his most seminal works including Music for 18 Musicians, Drumming and Different Trains.
The festival runs from May 11 - 13 2017 and the full line-up can be viewed on the Elbphilharmonie's Maximal Minimal microsite.
