Amjad Ali Khan along with his sons Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash make appearances at two of the most important world music festivals in the southern hemisphere during March 2019.
Their first stop is WOMADelaide in Australia where they perform Khan's acclaimed sarod concerto Samaagam with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra on the Foundation Stage on March 8. The following day they perform in trio format, drawing on their rich and varied repertoire of Indian classical music on Stage 2.
The also appear at the New Zealand edition of WOMAD the following week, where they make appearances as a trio on March 15 and 16
In between they bring their timeless interpretation of the sarod repertoire to the Melbourne Recital Centre on March 11.
Further ahead they return to London to play at the Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday 30 April with tickets on sale now
