Rayfield Allied is delighted to welcome on to its roster conductor Sonia Ben-Santamaria for general management.
French conductor Sonia Ben-Santamaria brings energy, intimacy and lightness to the podium with her conducting style.
In June this year, she made her UK debut conducting Un ballo in maschera at Opera Holland Park and in the 2019/20 season she will be joining Opera North as their first female associate conductor.
In Season 2017/18, Ben-Santamaria was selected to become an associate of the Jette Parker young artists’ programme at London’s Royal Opera house, the first female conductor to win the opportunity.
Sonia became a trainee at the National Opera Studio in 2010 where she won the Leonard Hancock Memorial Trust Prize, and subsequently joined the English National Opera in Season 2011/12.
