This year’s Southrepps Festival has taken place online, and features chamber music and songs by Jennifer Pike and Tim Morgan.
Three virtual concerts were recorded at St Giles Cripplegate in London, which can now be viewed through the Southrepps website.
Jennifer Pike returns to the festival, and performs works by Bacewicz, Kreisler and Holst with the festival's Artistic Director Ben Johnson and pianist Martin James Bartlett. Recent performances over lockdown include a Wigmore Hall live stream with Martin Roscoe, Vivaldi's Four Seasons with the London Mozart Players. She can be heard in Concert 1, available to listen here.
A former Southrepps Young Artist, Tim Morgan also returns to the festival to perform Britten’s Canticle II alongside Ben Johnson and Tom Primrose. Tim Morgan is a Samling Artist and was a finalist in the 2019 Kathleen Ferrier Awards. He features in Concert 3, which is available here.
