Renowned Handel expert Laurence Cummings will return to English National Opera to conduct an Easter performance of Handel's much-loved masterpiece Messiah, to be broadcast on BBC 2 at 6pm on Saturday 3 April.
Created specially for television audiences, the staged concert will be broadcast from ENO's home at the London Coliseum, in an hour-long and socially-distanced production. Laurence Cummings directs the ENO chorus, orchestra, and a stellar lineup of guest soloists.
Handel's Messiah from English National Opera will be available to watch here after the broadcast.
