We're delighted to announce that pianist Clare Hammond has joined the Rayfield Allied roster for general management. Described as 'a pianist of extraordinary gifts' (Gramophone), Clare is recognised for the virtuosity and authority of her performances. In 2016, she won the Royal Philharmonic Society's 'Young Artist Award' in recognition of outstanding achievement.
Her most recently released recording - Variations on BIS Records – featuring works by Hindemith, Szymanowski, Copland, Helmut Lachenmann, Harrison Birtwistle, Sofia Gubaidulina and John Adams, has received great acclaim:

As a concerto soloist, Clare has performed with orchestras including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Concert Orchestra and National Orchestra of Wales, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, The Philharmonia, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, Swedish Chamber Orchestra and Sinfonia Varsovia in a wide range of repertoire, with a particular focus on contemporary works having had five concertos written for her - you can see a list of her concerto repertoire here. Clare has had the pleasure of collaborating with conductors including Martyn Brabbins, Nicolas McGegan, Geoffrey Paterson, Jamie Phillips and Vasily Petrenko.
