Tonight outstanding Canadian baritone Brett Polegato creates the role of Richard in the world première of The Hours with the Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Based on Michael Cunningham's Pulitzer Prize winning novel and the subsequent film, The Hours, written by Kevin Puts, also stars Renée Fleming. A second performance takes place on Sunday afternoon at the Verizon Center, Philadelphia.
