Laurence Osborn has been nominated for Chamber Ensemble with his piece 'Essential Relaxing Classical Hits' for amplified solo soprano and six players, commissioned by Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and November Music Festival.
Laura Bowler has been nominated for Large Ensemble with her work 'Houses Slide' for cycling soprano, ensemble and fixed and live electronics, commissioned by London Sinfonietta.
The winners of 20th edition of The Ivors Composer Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday 15 November at the British Museum in London.
