We're delighted to welcome pianist Zubin Kanga to the Rayfield Allied roster for General Management.
A fearless advocate for new work, Zubin is at the forefront of expanding the possibilities of the keyboard using new technologies. Often focussing on models of interaction between performer and tech, he has been involved in the commissioning and premiering of multi-media work which incorporates live-video, interactive instruments, sensor-controlled live-electronics and Artificial Intelligence.
Recent collaborations have included WIKI-PIANO.NET with Alexander Schubert, which constantly evolves and has been performed in over 20 cities, and Scorsese Etudes by Nicole Lizée.
Major future premieres include Panopticon by Neil Luck, involving the deaf performance artist Chisato Minamimura, and Philip Venables' Answer Tape Machine which tackles the AIDS crisis in 1980s New York.
Zubin Kanga is managed worldwide by Ralph Blackbourn
