We are thrilled to welcome Michael Lafferty to Rayfield Allied for general management, where he will be managed by Simon Goldstone. On the 10th May 2023, Michael was one of four finalists to compete in the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama's Gold Medal Award at the Barbican Hall performing alongside the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra.
Michael recently completed his studies at the Opera School of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tutelage of David Pollard (where he was generously supported by The Behrens Foundation, The Drake Calleja Trust and Countess of Munster Musical Trust). He is a dynamic artist, praised for the “melting warmth” of his voice, and “demonstrable affection and involvement”. (Opera Today - Hurn Court Opera recital, Salisbury Arts Centre, Nov ‘19).
This summer, Michael makes his debut with Glyndebourne Festival Opera in the role of Officer in Barrie Kosky’s production of Dialogues des Carmélites (Poulenc).
