- This week's Artist in Focus is conductor Gianluca Marcianò. This Thursday he returns to Grange Park Opera to lead a double bill of Rachmaninoff's Aleko and Puccini's Gianni Schicchi starring the legenday Sir Bryn Terfel in both. - Gianluca Marcianò has had a prolific career performing in Spain. He will return to Teatro Maestranza in November following a successful run of Tosca to conduct Puccini's Turandot. - Gianluca Marcianò is the artistic director and founder of the Lerici Music Festival. Now in its seventh year, the 2024 edition will focus around the theme of 'memory' and will see Gianluca conduct the Filharmonica Arturo Toscanini and the Orchestra Giovanile della Magna Grecia.
