Bass-baritone Stephan Loges is especially well-known for his performances of Early Music and his recital work, but also appears regularly in later repertoire and has sung a number of world premieres. He works with orchestras like the London Philharmonic, Melbourne Symphony, and Orchestra dell’Accademia di Santa Cecilia and on operatic stages like Staatsoper Berlin, La Monnaie and the Capitole de Toulouse.
Following Bach’s John Passion with the Dunedin Consort , #RAArtistinFocus bass-baritone Stephan Loges next joins Richard Egarr and Het Residentie Orkest for the Matthew Passion. He has performed Baroque repertoire with René Jacobs, John Eliot Gardiner, Nicholas Kraemer, John Butt, Paul McCreesh, Raphael Pichon and the late Christopher Hogwood.

Stephan Loges was an early winner of the Wigmore Hall International Song Competition and has given recitals at venues like the Carnegie Hall, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Vienna Konzerthaus, Musée d’Orsay Paris and the Vocal Arts Series in Washington with pianists including Graham Johnson, Roger Vignoles, Joseph Middleton and Sholto Kynoch.
