Rayfield Allied is thrilled to welcome Hungarian bass Miklós Sebestyén to our roster of singers.
Sebestyén has performed at some of the world’s leading opera houses including The Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Bayerische Staatsoper, Teatro Real Madrid, and Opernhaus Zurich. Over the course of his career, he has worked with top conductors such as Riccardo Chailly, Carlo Rizzi, Adam Fischer, Fabio Luisi, Lorin Maazel, Julia Jones, and Ulf Schirmer.
His repertoire spans the great works of Verdi, Wagner, Mozart, and Rossini and he counts among his signature roles Bluebeard in Bartók’s Bluebeard’s Castle of which ForumOpera.com recently wrote ‘The tone is dark and shiny, and his entire performance demonstrates a deep understanding of the work.’
Upcoming performances include The King of Egypt in Verdi’s Aida and Don Bartolo in Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Hungarian State Opera.
Sebestyén will join the roster for General Management (excluding Hungary) and will be represented by Simon Goldstone.
